MOUZ beat Vitality 2-0 to take third place at PGL Masters Bucharest, moving 40 points ahead of Vitality in the Valve Regional Standings.
MOUZ beat Vitality 2-0 at PGL Masters Bucharest to finish third. They won Nuke and Inferno and now lead Vitality by 40 points in the Valve Regional Standings.
MOUZ chose Nuke because of Vitality’s limited recent experience on the map. Justinas “jL” Lekavicius finished with a 3-15 kill-death record, while William “mezii” Merriman was Vitality’s main source of kills.
MOUZ also started strongly on Inferno from the Counter-Terrorist side. Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás improved after a quiet performance on Nuke.
Vitality won the second-half pistol round after jL and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan held the B site. MOUZ regained the lead once rifles were available and used trades between the two sides of the map to win the second map.
Adrian “xelex” Vincze led MOUZ with 38 kills and a 1.65 rating across the series. Oldřich “PR” Nový had 31 kills and a 1.33 rating, while Lotan “Spinx” Giladi finished with 31 kills and a 1.23 rating. Robin “ropz” Kool led Vitality with 31 kills.
MOUZ will compete at IEM Beijing next week. Vitality is not scheduled to attend the tournament, with captain Dan “apEX” Madesclaire taking a short break after the birth of his first child. apEX is expected to return for BLAST Rivals in Hong Kong in mid-November.
