Riot Plans Free Fnatic Jarvan IV Skin, Cyanide Tribute
Riot Games is preparing a free Fnatic Jarvan IV skin and the “Young Legend Cyanide” title for players who complete three games as Jarvan IV.
Riot Games is preparing two free League of Legends rewards honoring Lauri “Cyanide” Happonen, the former Fnatic jungler and 2011 World Championship winner. Players are expected to receive the Fnatic Jarvan IV skin and the “Young Legend Cyanide” title after playing three games as Jarvan IV.
The title appeared in the game’s Public Beta Environment files on Tuesday, October 27. Riot has not confirmed when the rewards will be available on live servers or whether additional requirements will apply.
The Fnatic Jarvan IV skin was created to commemorate Fnatic’s victory at the first League of Legends World Championship in 2011. Happonen played Jarvan IV during the tournament and was 16 years old when Fnatic won the title.
Happonen died on July 31 at age 31. News of his death became public on October 26. The Finnish player was part of Fnatic’s championship-winning roster at the first World Championship.
The planned tribute follows Riot’s recognition of Maciej “Shushei” Ratuszniak, Happonen’s Fnatic teammate and the team’s mid laner in 2011. Shushei died in April 2025 at age 36 after battling cancer. Riot then gave players the “Shushei Forever” title and allowed them to earn the Fnatic Gragas skin by playing three games as Gragas.
