Sashi adds two Australians to qualify via Asia VRS

Sashi has placed Casper “Cabbi” Jensen and Mikkel “MistR” Thomsen on the bench and introduced Australians Tynan “TjP” Purtell and Jordan “Hatz” Bajic to its active roster as the team aims to register in the Asia Valve Regional System (VRS) and pursue qualification for PGL Major Singapore.

The organisation confirmed the changes are temporary and said MistR and Cabbi will be “stepping out of the starting lineup for the coming month.” With the arrivals, Sashi now fields three players with links to the Asia region, including Anton “Anlelele” Huynh, who holds Vietnamese citizenship, a factor that allows the team to register in the Asia VRS.

The current Sashi starting roster lists Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand, Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss, Anton “Anlelele” Huynh, Tynan “TjP” Purtell and Jordan “Hatz” Bajic, with Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen as coach. Jensen and Thomsen remain under contract and are available to return to the starting lineup after the temporary period.

Sashi is ranked 54th in the Europe VRS with 1,122 Valve points. An immediate region change to Asia would place the team as the region’s fifth-highest-ranked side at the relevant cutoff and inside the qualification zone for the Singapore Major, affecting its path to the event.

TjP and Hatz are scheduled to debut for Sashi on Wednesday in the closed qualifier for 1win Private Club Season 2. The team also plans to attend Stake Pulse Beat III in Stockholm next week.

TjP has been part of THUNDER dOWNUNDER since October 2025 and earlier this year played at IEM Cologne Major as one of Asia’s top-ranked invitees at the cutoff date. Hatz’s most recent recorded competitive appearance was in July 2024 for Rooster in ESL Challenger League Season 48; that Rooster lineup included TjP and Tyson “asap” Paterson.

The organisation described the roster change as a short-term tactic to meet Asia VRS requirements and test the temporary lineup in upcoming qualifiers and events while keeping options open for the benched players to return after the month.
