Ninjas in Pyjamas win ROG JOURNEY Autumn final 2-0

Ninjas in Pyjamas won ROG JOURNEY Autumn after defeating Eternal Fire 2-0 in the final, collecting the $10,000 top prize and 82 VRS points.

NiP finished second in their opening group after a best-of-one loss to Sangal, which placed them into the playoffs at the Round of 12. They then beat Johnny Speeds, SINNERS and BBL to reach the final, dropping only one map across their playoff run.

In the final, a strong Inferno CT half helped NiP secure a straight-sets win. Karim ‘Krimbo’ Moussa led the team with 37 kills and 23 deaths, an average damage per round near 92 and a match rating around 1.50. Martin ‘stavn’ Lund also recorded 37 kills and a rating above 1.40.

Other NiP starters produced steady numbers: Kacper ‘xKacpersky’ Gabarax (28-26, ADR 81.3, rating 1.06), Rasmus ‘sjuush’ Beck (23-22, ADR 67.7, rating 0.99) and Adam ‘adamb’ Ångström (25-24, ADR 59.7, rating 0.92). For Eternal Fire, Samet ‘jottAAA’ Köklü finished 28-30 with ADR 83.0 and a 1.19 rating; Caner ‘soulfly’ Kesici was 25-30 with ADR 62.4 and a 1.09 rating. Iulian ‘regali’ Harjău (28-28, ADR 71.8, rating 0.91), Vladyslav ‘Kvem’ Korol (24-31, ADR 60.3, rating 0.83) and Gareth ‘MisteM’ Ries (14-33, ADR 44.6, rating 0.68) posted lower figures.

The 82 VRS points moved NiP up 11 places in the VRS standings and increased their simulated chance of receiving a Major invite to about 63.7%, based on VRS calculations. SINNERS and BC.Game each climbed about ten places in the rankings, while Voca rose 34 places. The event awarded VRS points that contribute to Major invite calculations and a $10,000 prize purse.
