Falcons lead invited teams for IEM Beijing 2026
Falcons headline IEM Beijing 2026 invites after Vitality and Spirit declined; PARIVISION and FaZe fill their spots for the $1.25 million event.
Organizers of IEM Beijing 2026 revealed the invited teams, with Falcons headlining the list after two teams declined invitations to the $1.25 million event in Beijing. Ten global VRS invitations were offered based on the VRS ranking published on August 3; eight were accepted.
The teams that accepted global invites are Falcons, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, FURIA, Legacy, BetBoom, G2 and Aurora. FURIA, the champion of the event’s predecessor IEM Chengdu 2025, has confirmed its spot in Beijing.
Two teams offered VRS invites, Vitality and Spirit, declined. Organizers replaced those slots with PARIVISION and FaZe, both of whom accepted and are now part of the invited field.
Regional representatives invited to the main event are Team Liquid for North America, 9z for South America, and The MongolZ for Asia. The final three berths in the main event will be decided through qualifying tournaments, with one spot available from Asia and two from Europe.
The direct invites were allocated according to the August 3 VRS ordering used by organizers. With the confirmed invitees and regional representatives announced, the remaining teams will be determined by the scheduled qualifiers for the Beijing main event.
