What is FaZe Clan? FaZe is one of the most recognizable organizations in esports and gaming culture. Eric “CLipZ” Rivera, Jeff “House Cat” Emann, and Ben “Resistance” Christensen are the people who founded FaZe in 2010. The team first became known through Call of Duty content before expanding into a global esports brand.

The FaZe CS2 team is the organization’s Counter-Strike division. FaZe entered Counter-Strike in 2016 by signing the former G2 Esports lineup and quickly became known for international rosters built around elite individual talent. Instead of relying on one national core, FaZe often combined players from different countries, creating one of the most famous international identities in Counter-Strike.

In CS FaZe Clan built its reputation through star-heavy lineups, bold roster moves, Major finals, and elite event wins. The organization’s biggest achievement came at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where FaZe became the first international roster to win a CS Major. Since the move to CS2, FaZe has remained a major name in the scene, even as the team works through a new rebuild after the end of the karrigan CS2 era.

FaZe CSGO history began in 2016, but the team’s first major rise came in 2017 after Nikola “NiKo” Kovač joined the roster. With names like rain, GuardiaN, olofmeister, and karrigan, FaZe became one of the strongest teams in the world. The lineup reached the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018 grand final, where it lost to Cloud9 in one of the most famous Major finals in Counter-Strike history.

In 2022, FaZe built a championship roster with karrigan, rain, broky, Twistzz, and ropz. That lineup won IEM Katowice 2022, PGL Major Antwerp 2022, and IEM Cologne 2022, making it the strongest year in FaZe’s Counter-Strike history.

FaZe continued that run by completing Intel Grand Slam Season 4 after winning ESL Pro League Season 17. The achievement showed that the 2022 success was not just one strong tournament run, but a period of consistent results across elite events.

When Counter-Strike moved from CSGO to CS2, FaZe stayed competitive at the highest level. The team reached the grand final of the first CS2 Major in Copenhagen 2024 and later made another Major final appearance in Shanghai. FaZe did not win those CS2 Majors, but both runs showed that the organization could still compete deep into the biggest tournaments.

By 2026, FaZe had entered a new stage. The karrigan-led chapter ended, and the team began rebuilding around players such as frozen, Twistzz, broky, and younger talent. The current FaZe CS2 story is no longer about a finished dynasty, but about whether one of Counter-Strike’s most famous organizations can build another elite roster.

FaZe CS2 Roster Overview

The FaZe CS2 roster in 2026 is built around experienced stars and newer pieces. After karrigan’s departure, the team entered a transition period, with FaZe trying to rebuild its structure while keeping the individual firepower that has long defined the organization.

Twistzz brings Major-winning experience, strong late-round decision-making, and leadership value during the rebuild. frozen CS2 player is one of the main rifling pillars of the lineup, known for consistency and star-level impact. broky remains the team’s AWPer, giving FaZe a calm and experienced presence in key rounds.

The newer part of the FaZe Clan CS2 roster 2026 includes jcobbb and Neityu. jcobbb adds young rifling talent, while Neityu has been used as a stand-in during the team’s transition. This version of the FaZe roster is less settled than the 2022 championship lineup, but it still has enough individual quality to be dangerous.
