FURIA CS2: Roster, History, Ranking and Achievements

FURIA entered Counter-Strike as a Brazilian organization focused on developing domestic talent. The organization developed promising local players, kept its core together through difficult periods, and gradually earned a place at major international events.

The team no longer relies on a fully Brazilian lineup. KSCERATO, yuurih, and FalleN now play alongside international recruits YEKINDAR and molodoy, giving FURIA a roster built for more than regional dominance.

FURIA Esports and Its CS2 Vision

Founded in Brazil in 2017, FURIA Esports expanded into several games, but Counter-Strike became central to its international reputation. The organization gained attention through an aggressive playing style and a willingness to give young Brazilian players time to develop.

Early versions of FURIA CS often played at a faster pace than their opponents expected. arT’s calling encouraged early fights, unusual pushes, and heavy pressure across the map. Results were uneven, but few opponents could mistake FURIA for a conventional, cautious team.

The move to Counter-Strike 2 eventually brought a different direction. FalleN joined as both an in-game leader and an experienced figure who had already won two Majors. With FalleN, FURIA moved toward a more structured system and placed greater emphasis on preparation for playoff matches.

The current FURIA CS2 project has gone further by recruiting outside Brazil. YEKINDAR added an experienced entry player, while molodoy gave the team a young AWPer with room to develop. KSCERATO and yuurih are the only players who remain from the core associated with FURIA’s earlier rise.

The long-term plan for FURIA Esports CS2 now includes recruitment beyond Brazil. Brazilian talent still matters, but nationality is no longer the main condition when the management evaluates a roster change. Roster decisions are now judged by whether they improve FURIA’s chances at elite international events, not by nationality alone.

FURIA CSGO Legacy to CS2 Evolution

FURIA CSGO began in domestic tournaments before the team moved into lower-tier international competition. The team moved to the United States in 2018, which gave its players access to stronger competition and more opportunities to qualify for large tournaments.

The breakthrough came in 2019. FURIA reached the final of the ECS Season 7 Finals, made deep runs at several international events. Those results established FURIA as a regular international playoff contender. KSCERATO, yuurih, arT, VINI, and ableJ formed the lineup most closely associated with that rise.

Later versions of the team included HEN1, saffee, drop, chelo, skullz, and other players. Results varied, but the organization remained a regular Major participant. Its best CS:GO Major finish came at IEM Rio Major 2022, where the home crowd watched FURIA reach the semifinals.

FURIA changed direction several times during its first seasons in CS2. FURIA changed supporting players, moved away from the old arT-led system, and reconsidered the balance between experience and individual firepower. FalleN remained the leader, while KSCERATO and yuurih continued as the established core.

The present FURIA CS2 team keeps KSCERATO and yuurih but changes almost everything around them. Players from different regions now fill the leadership, entry, and AWP roles. The organization remains Brazilian, although its approach to roster building now resembles that of other international contenders.

FURIA CS2 Roster and Lineup

Roster FURIA CS2: the current five combines FalleN’s leadership with molodoy’s primary AWPing and three riflers in distinct roles. FalleN serves as the in-game leader, while molodoy holds the primary AWP role. Unlike earlier stages of his career, he no longer serves as the primary AWPer in every situation because that role now belongs to molodoy.

Sid “sidde” Macedo is the head coach. FURIA’s official team page also lists Aidyn “KrizzeN” Turlybekov and Juan “Hepa” Borges as assistant coaches. 

The FURIA CS2 lineup puts much of its opening responsibility on YEKINDAR, whose task is to create space and take early duels. KSCERATO is more likely to operate in later stages of the round, where his aim and decision-making make him effective in clutch situations. yuurih provides flexibility across maps, while molodoy gives the team a dedicated sniper.

This FURIA CS2 roster 2026 reflects the organization’s international turn: FalleN, KSCERATO, and yuurih are Brazilian, while YEKINDAR and molodoy come from different competitive regions. The mixed roster broadens FURIA’s tactical options, though it also places more importance on communication and clearly defined roles.

FURIA CS Ranking and Achievements

FURIA’s strongest historical Major result in CS:GO was its semifinal appearance in Rio in 2022. In CS2, the organization reached the quarterfinals at the BLAST.tv Austin Major and StarLadder Budapest Major in 2025 before advancing to the final of the IEM Cologne Major in 2026. The team finished second in Cologne, its best Major result to date. 

FURIA CS2 recent results 2026 

The team finished second at IEM Kraków and ESL Grand Slam VI, placed third to fourth at BLAST Bounty Winter, and took fourth at IEM Rio. FURIA reached the closing stages of several elite events, but did not convert those runs into a title. 

As of July 2026, the FURIA CS2 ranking places the team third in the HLTV world ranking and sixth in Valve’s ranking. HLTV also recorded a previous peak at number one. Both rankings reflect the standings in July 2026.

Domestic dominance is no longer the main standard for this FURIA lineup. Its international roster, Major final appearance, and repeated playoff runs have raised expectations. After reaching a Major final and several other late-stage finishes, FURIA now needs to turn more of those runs into tournament wins.
