Wanted Goons sign LUKE4k as IGL ahead of ESL Challenger

Wanted Goons have signed Lucas ‘LUKE4k’ Mizumoto as their in-game leader, restoring the North American side to a full five-player roster. The club confirmed the signing on 5 October and named 7 October, the start of ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup 3, as his expected debut.

The signing fills a vacancy left when Kevin ‘Magic’ Simpson departed the lineup about a month earlier. LUKE4k previously stood in for Wanted Goons during the second cup of ESL Challenger League Season 51 in March; that temporary appearance has been converted into a permanent role.

LUKE4k has had limited competitive activity in 2026, playing roughly 20 maps so far. His most recent recorded match came in March, when he appeared for a mixed team in the PGL Astana 2026 North America Open Qualifier. He spent time in Japan in the spring and managed fewer tournament appearances than in prior seasons.

Earlier in his career he competed for Outfit 49 and for dice in ESEA Open across Seasons 9 and 10, and in ESEA Advanced. Those runs did not appear in major match records.

Mizumoto has enrolled at Fisher College and will join the college’s CS2 team. Fisher’s schedule is limited to collegiate competitions this semester, which does not include ESL open-circuit events.

Wanted Goons will field the completed lineup at ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup 3 on Wednesday, 7 October. The team has a short window to integrate LUKE4k into in-game leadership duties before those matches.
