Vitality sweep PARIVISION to reach ESL Pro League semis

Vitality opened the series with force-buy rounds on Inferno. After taking a 3-2 lead and damaging PARIVISION’s economy, Vitality won 11 consecutive rounds to close the map 13-2. PARIVISION recorded 21 team kills, while Shahar “flameZ” Shushan and William “mezii” Merriman each posted ratings above 2.00.

Vitality moved 6-0 ahead on Dust2 before PARIVISION began to reduce the deficit late in the first half. Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov produced opening kills and multi-kill rounds, while Abay “HObbit” Khassenov won a one-versus-two situation to bring PARIVISION within two rounds.

Vitality kept the lead in the second half. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut recorded a three-kill round late in the map, helping Vitality secure a 13-10 win and a 2-0 series victory.

ZywOo led Vitality with 33 kills and a 1.66 rating. FlameZ also had 33 kills and a 1.46 rating. Mezii, Robin “ropz” Kool and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire completed Vitality’s lineup.

XiELO led PARIVISION with 26 kills and a 0.94 rating. Dzhami “Jame” Ali, HObbit, Ivan “zweih” Gogin and Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev made up the rest of the team.

Vitality will face Aurora in the semifinal on Oct. 10. Aurora defeated 1win earlier Friday.
