True Damage releases Worlds 2026 anthem honoring Faker

Riot Games released “Know My Name,” the Worlds 2026 anthem by True Damage, with a video tracing Faker’s career and T1’s three consecutive titles from 2023 to 2025.
Riot Games released “Know My Name” on Thursday, Oct. 8, as the official anthem for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. The song is True Damage’s first release in seven years and the 13th official Worlds anthem.
The music video follows Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok through defeats, setbacks and comebacks before showing his championship victories. Faker has won six World Championship titles. The video also focuses on T1’s three consecutive titles from 2023 through 2025.
The song features SOYEON of i-dle as Akali, Coco Jones as Senna, Vic Mensa as Ekko and Sofía Reyes as Qiyana. Yasuo completes the virtual group as its DJ and producer. SOYEON previously performed as Akali in True Damage’s 2019 debut.
The track uses English, Korean and Spanish. Its lyrics address resilience, recognition and overcoming setbacks, with references to League of Legends characters and abilities, including Ekko’s Z-Drive, which lets him manipulate time.
WIZZ produced the music video with animation direction from CRCR. Suzette Brissett Creatives handled the choreography. Sebastien Najand produced the song and shares writing credits with Ale Alberti, Alexis Boyd, Miranda Glory, Aejin Kwon, Natania Lalwani, Drew Love of the Daydreamers and Vic Mensa. Ruby Smith mixed the track, and Dale Becker mastered it.
True Damage will perform “Know My Name” during the opening ceremony for the Worlds 2026 Grand Final on Nov. 14 at Barclays Center in New York City. The tournament will begin with the Play-In Stage on Oct. 15 in Los Angeles.
True Damage debuted at the Worlds 2019 final with “GIANTS,” performed by artists representing Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna and Yasuo. “Know My Name” is the first Worlds anthem performed by one of Riot Games’ established virtual music groups. Faker has also appeared in the videos for “RISE,” “Phoenix” and “Heavy Is The Crown.”
