KT Rolster Extends Bdd and PerfecT Contracts Through 2028

KT Rolster announced Thursday, October 8, that mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong and top laner Lee “PerfecT” Seung-min had signed contract extensions through 2028. The agreements keep both players with KT for another two years after the team failed to qualify for the 2026 World Championship.

Bdd has played for KT in two periods. He joined the organization in 2019 before moving to Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce. He returned to KT in 2023 and signed a two-year extension in October 2024. Bdd received the 2025 LCK Player of the Year award after helping KT reach its first World Championship final.

PerfecT has spent his professional career in KT’s system. He joined the organization’s academy in 2020, then played for its Challengers team before reaching the main roster ahead of the 2024 season.

At the 2025 World Championship, KT defeated Gen.G 3-1 in the semifinals. The team then faced T1 in the final and lost the five-game series 3-2.

KT finished the 2026 LCK Cup Play-In in eighth or ninth place after losing to DN SOOPers. The team posted a 13-5 series record across the first two rounds of the LCK regular season and finished fourth. Gen.G then defeated KT 3-0 in the Road to MSI.

KT reached the LCK playoffs but lost 3-1 to Dplus KIA in the lower bracket. The result left KT in fifth place and ended its chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Championship.

KT is still competing at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 in China. The 12-team tournament includes teams from six regions. KT opened the Swiss stage with a 1-0 win over Shopify Rebellion and a 2-0 victory against RED Canids. The results gave KT a 2-0 record and a place in the playoffs.

KT will face Team Vitality in the quarterfinals on October 12. The tournament final is scheduled for October 17 in Beijing.
