Riot Games has prepared a special wedding gift for a couple whose relationship began nearly 12 years ago in League of Legends.
Riot Games sent a wedding gift to a couple who are set to marry on June 13. The players first met in League of Legends almost 12 years ago.
The story was shared on X by user Ironelia, who said her sister and her sister’s boyfriend first connected through Riot Games’ MOBA. According to the post, she contacted Riot Support to request a short message for the couple ahead of the wedding.
Riot Support responded by sending a gift box for the soon-to-be newlyweds. The package included a commemorative plaque featuring the map of Summoner’s Rift.
The plaque contains the phrase “We met here” and the date when the couple added each other as friends in League of Legends.
The gift also included a congratulatory card referencing Xayah and Rakan, a champion duo in League of Legends known for their shared recall mechanic.
The card reads: “Magic is in the heart. Magic is in the rhythm. We hope your hearts will dance in the same rhythm, just like their recall.”
