Astralis sign siuhy and cmtry to replace HooXi, jabbi

Astralis have signed Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek and Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov, replacing benched players Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard.

Siuhy will serve as Astralis’ in-game leader. He became a free agent on October 2 after spending just over a year with Liquid. During that period, Liquid recorded early tournament exits and inconsistent T-side performances.

Cmtry will move from the AWP to a rifling role, leaving Love “phzy” Smidebrant as Astralis’ primary sniper. He joined the team after FUT benched him at the start of October to make room for Álvaro “SunPayus” García.

The new lineup will debut at Stake Pulse Beat III on October 14. Astralis are in Group C and will face Sashi in their opening match. The event will be the first official tournament for siuhy and cmtry with the organization.

Astralis have secured a place at PGL Major Singapore after winning Stake Ranked Episode 4. The team will enter the Major with no Danish majority in its starting lineup.

Astralis’ active roster consists of phzy, Victor “Staehr” Staehr, Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas, cmtry and siuhy. Filip “NEO” Kubski is the coach, while HooXi and jabbi remain under contract on the bench.
