Imperial win Circuit X Curitiba Season 4, raise Major odds

Imperial defeated paiN in the Circuit X Curitiba Season 4 final, moving to 40th in the Valve Regional Standings and raising its estimated chance of receiving one of the three remaining Americas Major invitations to 87%.

Imperial’s chance was 54% one week before the tournament. The team now sits among the top nine in the Americas region, the ranking range associated with the remaining invitations.

Imperial defeated BESTIA and paiN twice during its run to the title. Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo posted a 2.15 rating on the opening map of the final. A balanced team performance then helped Imperial finish the series on Cache.

BESTIA’s third-place finish lowered its estimated chance of reaching the Major to 4%. PaiN remains in contention at 23%, with Gamers Club Masters VII still to be played.

The VRS standings were recorded immediately after the event’s final match. Placements can change when other tournaments conclude.
