Imperial sweep paiN to win FERJEE In House S2

Imperial defeated paiN 3-0 in the FERJEE In House S2 final, taking Anubis 13-4, Cache 13-11 and Mirage 13-6 in the best-of-five match. Both teams entered the event as the top two seeds and reached the final without dropping a map.

Imperial posted higher individual ratings and kill totals in the series. Sniper Guilherme ‘saadzin’ Pacheco finished the event with a 1.36 tournament rating, led the final with 50 kills and posted a 1.43 match rating. Kaiky ‘noway’ Santos recorded 53 kills and a 1.42 rating. Captain Vinicius ‘VINI’ Figueiredo had 42 kills and a 1.34 rating. Marcelo ‘chelo’ Cespedes totaled 44 kills with a 1.23 rating and Lucas ‘decenty’ Bacelard had 42 kills and a 1.10 rating.

On paiN, Rodrigo ‘biguzera’ Bittencourt was the only player to finish the series with a positive rating, recording 49 kills and a 1.36 rating. João ‘snow’ Vinicius had 34 kills and a 0.81 rating, Rafael ‘saffee’ Costa posted 38 kills and a 0.78 rating, Rickson ‘Rkzinho’ Ribeiro Dias had 36 kills and a 0.75 rating, and Lucas ‘Tatu’ Santana finished with 20 kills and a 0.47 rating.

The result affected the VRS standings. After the final, paiN sits at No.46 in the VRS and Imperial moved ahead of paiN in the rankings. Imperial last appeared at a Valve-sponsored event in Budapest.
