TenZ, ohnePixel to Join VALORANT Shanghai Showmatch

TenZ and ohnePixel will play for Team Omega against Team Alpha in a showmatch scheduled before VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026 concludes in Shanghai.

Team Omega will feature five figures from the international VALORANT community. Former professional player and content creator Tyson “TenZ” Ngo will captain the team. He will be joined by DJ and music producer DABIN, streamer and YouTuber ohnePixel, FIFTY FIFTY member and T1 VALORANT ambassador Athena, and singer-songwriter keshi.

Team Alpha will include Chinese creators and professional players. Its captain will be Karry Wang, leader of the Chinese boy group TFBOYS. The team will also feature streamer Aijiang, professional player Du “HangHang” Yu Hang, streamer Gus and professional player Wang “whzy” Haozhe.

The showmatch will be separate from the official VALORANT Champions Shanghai competition. Team Alpha and Team Omega will represent opposing sides in the exhibition match before the tournament ends.

Fans will be able to vote on challenges for selected rounds. Options may require players to whisper all communications for a round or have loud music played through team voice communications. The challenge receiving the most votes will set the conditions for a later round.

Riot Games has not confirmed whether the showmatch will feature VALORANT’s next agent. The company recently invited influencers and content creators to an event that offered an early look at the upcoming character. The agent is rumored to be from China and could be the game’s 31st, but Riot has not confirmed its identity or release details.
