LOS wins CBLOL 2026 and keeps 2027 league spot

LOS won the CBLOL 2026 title before defeating KBM 3-1 in the promotion tournament to retain its place in Brazil’s top League of Legends division for 2027.

The team played both finals within 48 hours. LOS entered the 2026 CBLOL season as the league’s Guest Team, a status it had to defend through the annual Promotion Tournament regardless of its results in the top division.

The format meant LOS could have won the Brazilian championship and then lost its place in the league two days later. In that case, the team would have qualified for Worlds 2026 as Brazil’s champion while preparing to compete in Tier 2 the following season.

With both the title and its 2027 league place secured, LOS will represent Brazil as the region’s first seed at Worlds 2026 in the United States. The team will advance directly to the Swiss Stage and skip the Play-In Stage.

The Worlds Swiss Stage is scheduled for Oct. 23-31 in Allen, Texas. Sixteen teams will compete for eight places in the knockout stage. LOS will learn its first-round opponent when the matchups are drawn.
