flameZ: One T-side round on Anubis, revenge vs MOUZ

After Vitality beat Aurora in the ESL Pro League S24 semifinal, flameZ said the team won one T-side round on Anubis, blamed missed shots, wants revenge vs MOUZ and welcomed CS2 silent reloads.

Vitality reached the ESL Pro League Season 24 final after defeating Aurora in the semifinal. Israeli player Shahar “flameZ” Shushan highlighted the team’s difficulties on Anubis and looked ahead to a final against MOUZ.

FlameZ said Vitality managed only one T-side round on Anubis. He blamed missed shots and failed duels for the low round count, calling the map “quite a random map” and noting Aurora’s consistency there. He added that Vitality entered the match with a game plan but struggled to execute it because individual players were not winning fights.

MOUZ secured the other spot in the grand final by beating Spirit. FlameZ declined to name a preferred opponent, stating the team wants revenge against both MOUZ and Spirit after recent losses to each.

On the current roster compared with the squad that had a long winning streak in 2025, flameZ said the team still needs more matches against top opponents such as Spirit and MOUZ to measure itself. He described the team atmosphere as strong and said the group feels able to compete with top teams.

FlameZ welcomed CS2’s new silent reload mechanic, calling it “a really cool addition.” He said the feature adds fresh options without overturning the overall meta and predicted it will change outcomes in close situations such as clutches and small-number encounters.

The grand final will pit Vitality against MOUZ for the ESL Pro League Season 24 title. The match will determine the tournament winner and provide a direct rematch opportunity for Vitality after recent defeats to both potential finalists.
