The peak is the largest for the league since Summer 2022, when the Cloud9 vs 100 Thieves final reached 370,178 concurrent viewers. Earlier events in 2026 had lower peaks: Lock-In reached 184,969 and Spring peaked at 183,152.

Across the Summer tournament, average viewership was 82,121. The event produced 7,917,786 Hours Watched over 96 hours and 25 minutes of airtime.

English-language peak viewership rose 44.1% from Spring 2026, while Spanish-language peak viewership increased 71.6%. The number of channels carrying LCS coverage grew from 100 in Spring to 126 in Summer.

Twitch and YouTube remained the dominant platforms. Other platforms and regional outlets, including Kick, TikTok, SOOP Korea and CHZZK, registered audience growth. Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont increased his LCS airtime sixfold and finished Summer 2026 as the top channel by Hours Watched and peak viewers.

Among regional leagues that qualify teams for the 2026 World Championship, the LCS posted the third-highest peak so far. The LCK led with 1,556,100 concurrent viewers, followed by the LEC at 438,821, then the LCS at 279,217. Other reported peaks were CBLOL 205,784, LPL 177,274 and LCP 153,174. The CBLOL final on October 10 could change those rankings.

On the field, Team Liquid beat LYON 3-1 to win its sixth LCS title and its first since Spring 2024. Team Liquid and LYON qualified directly for the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage. Cloud9 will begin Worlds in the Play-In Stage.
