ESL Pro League Season 24 playoff race goes to final day

Three playoff spots remain at ESL Pro League Season 24 after Aurora, 1win and Falcons advanced from the Swiss stage with 3-1 records. They joined Vitality and MOUZ in the playoffs.

The final matches will be played on Oct. 7. FURIA will face 9z at 12:00, PARIVISION will meet Natus Vincere at 14:30, and Spirit will play M80 at 17:00. The winners will advance to the playoffs at Spodek.

Spirit lost to 1win in the biggest upset of the day. Danil “donk” Kryshkovets had a quiet series, while Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov and the rest of the 1win lineup helped the team secure a playoff place. The result also kept 1win in contention for a spot at the Singapore Major.

Spirit will have one final chance to reach the playoffs against M80. FURIA will seek to qualify after losing to Aurora and will face regional rival 9z in its last Swiss-stage match.

Natus Vincere will play PARIVISION in the final series of the day. Natus Vincere has not reached the top eight at an event since winning IEM Atlanta in May. PARIVISION is seeking a playoff place at its first event with Abay “HObbit” Khassenov back on the roster alongside Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev.
