T1, Universal set to launch Minions esports collection
T1 and Universal are scheduled to launch the Legends Meet Mayhem collection Oct. 13, featuring T1’s League of Legends players as Minions characters.
The T1 x Minions: Legends Meet Mayhem collection will feature Choi “Doran” Hyeon-jun, Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan and Ryu “Keria” Min-seok. The designs draw on the players’ personalities, playing styles and recognizable traits.
The merchandise will be sold through T1’s official online shop and at selected physical stores. T1 said the partnership is the first time Universal has approved a collaboration of this type with an esports organization.
“This collaboration represents a monumental moment where competitive esports culture collides with global entertainment royalty. Universal making an exclusive exception to depict our players as Minions highlights the unprecedented global impact of T1 and our roster,” T1 CEO Joe Marsh said.
T1 is preparing for Worlds 2026, where it will compete for a fourth consecutive League of Legends World Championship.
