TaZ: BC.Game signs Senzu, seeks IGL before CS Asia

BC.Game has loaned Azbayar ‘Senzu’ Munkhbold, benched Christopher ‘MUTiRiS’ Fernandes and António ‘aragornN’ Barbosa, and is searching for a new IGL ahead of May 20.

BC.Game has added Mongolian rifler Azbayar ‘Senzu’ Munkhbold on loan, removed Christopher ‘MUTiRiS’ Fernandes and António ‘aragornN’ Barbosa from the active roster, and is looking to fill the in-game leader spot before the CS Asia Championships. The team opens the event on May 20 in a best-of-one match against Falcons.

Wiktor ‘TaZ’ Wojtas, BC.Game’s coach, described Senzu as an immediate boost to the squad’s shooting power and said team morale has improved since the changes. Analyst Robin ‘ScrunK’ Röpke will be on stage in a support role for his second event with the roster while the IGL position remains vacant.

TaZ explained the benchings came after the roster did not meet organizational expectations following the acquisition of the former SAW core and subsequent tournament invites. The club moved quickly to pursue better results and to provide players a chance to reset. He called Senzu ‘a great addition’ for both in-game performance and team environment.

On the IGL vacancy, TaZ outlined the profile he is seeking: a player who remains steady under pressure and provides leadership inside and outside the server. He said experience is not the primary factor and that a strong presence matters most. ‘You cannot make a leader. You are either a leader or not,’ he stated.

TaZ addressed comments made by the benched IGL about not feeling empowered to captain the side, saying their relationship was good and that he tried to support the captaincy role. He noted the project required more time for players to build trust and coordination and that locking major tournaments quickly increased pressure on individuals.

The team’s performance in Atlanta featured some close maps but dropped decisive rounds, prompting staff changes. TaZ judged the current lineup has ‘tier-1 potential’ on a shooting level with Senzu added, but still needs a stable caller to complete the roster. ScrunK will handle analytical duties while the club evaluates candidates.

TaZ has been with BC.Game for about four months and described the build as different from previous roles at more established organizations. He said assembling a functioning unit requires time, trust and hard work, and that management and players will have input before a final signing decision for the IGL.
