PARIVISION eliminates BIG at XSE Pro League Guangzhou

PARIVISION eliminated BIG 2-1 in the XSE Pro League Guangzhou first-round playoff and advanced to the semi-finals.

The series opened on Cache, the newest map in the pool. BIG led 9-3 on the CT side at half and closed the map 19-15 after double overtime.

PARIVISION won the second map, Mirage, 13-5. Vyacheslav ‘slaxejezzz’ Vinokurov produced a 2.08 rating on Mirage.

The decider on Ancient finished 13-9 in PARIVISION’s favor. Slaxejezzz posted a 1.53 rating on Ancient.

Across the three maps, Ivan ‘zweih’ Gogin was the highest-rated player of the series with a 1.40 rating, 60 kills and 42 deaths, a 76.4 ADR and 74.3% KAST. Slaxejezzz finished 58-49 with a 90.0 ADR, 75.7% KAST and a 1.23 rating. Vladislav ‘xiELO’ Lysov, Dzhami ‘Jame’ Ali and Abay ‘HObbit’ Khassenov recorded ratings around 0.97, 0.90 and 0.90 respectively.

For BIG, Josef ‘faveN’ Baumann and Jon ‘JDC’ de Castro were the top contributors with ratings of 1.07 and 1.05. Johannes ‘tabseN’ Wodarz, Gleb ‘gr1ks’ Gazin and Benjamin ‘blameF’ Bremer finished below 1.00.

PARIVISION’s recent signing produced the highest ratings on Mirage and Ancient but had a quieter showing on Cache, leaving him second on the overall leaderboard.

PARIVISION will meet either BetBoom or FaZe in the Guangzhou semi-finals. BetBoom entered the event undefeated so far, while FaZe recovered from an 0-2 start in the group stage to reach the playoffs, aided by Jason ‘JBOEN’ Boe Nielsen.
