Johnny Speeds benches friberg, nawwk and Lekr0

Johnny Speeds removed coach Adam ‘friberg’ Friberg and players Tim ‘nawwk’ Jonasson and Jonas ‘Lekr0’ Olofsson from the active roster, the organization announced. The changes follow the recent departure of Anton ‘Sapec’ Palmgren and leave Ludvig ‘HEAP’ Alonso and Jacob ‘jocab’ Nerheden as the only players listed on the active roster.

The club’s statement read: ‘There is only love for the boys. We fought hard and gave it everything, but the results haven’t been there.’ The announcement did not specify dates for the benchings or whether the affected individuals will remain under contract or enter free agency.

Tim ‘nawwk’ Jonasson joined Johnny Speeds in late February. Early after his arrival the team placed third at Parken Challenger Championship Season 2 and won NODWIN Clutch Series 6, moving the organization to just outside the top 50 in the global VRS rankings.

Later results included a runner-up finish at ECL Season 51 Cup 3, a last-place result at Tipsport Conquest of Prague, and an early exit from NODWIN Clutch Series 8. At the Svenska CS-Ligan 2026 Finals the team posted a weak showing and finished the season 80th in the global VRS standings.

The club cited the season results as the reason for restructuring the roster and coaching staff. Johnny Speeds did not provide a timetable for recruiting replacements or name a new coach.

HEAP and jocab remain on the roster and are expected to form the immediate core while the organization finalizes its next steps. The timing and scope of further changes were not disclosed.
