T1 and Spotify Korea launch T1 STARS K-pop project

T1 and Spotify Korea announced T1 STARS, a K-pop-style project led by five T1 League of Legends players: Doran, Oner, Faker, Peyz and Keria. The group will release debut singles exclusively on Spotify at 10:00 a.m. CET on Aug. 10.

Promotional activity began on Aug. 4 with concept photos showing the players in outfits influenced by contemporary K-pop groups, including leather jackets, chunky jewelry and musical accessories. A mockumentary-style promotional video was released online to document rehearsals and preparations, and Oner posted behind-the-scenes photos on social media.

The singles will be available only on Spotify. A documentary film is scheduled to premiere three hours before the music release. An interview about a T1 STARS pop-up is set for Aug. 11. Song titles and whether official music videos will be released have not been disclosed.

T1 STARS will make its first live appearance on Aug. 14 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul during T1 Home Ground, a three-day LCK Roadshow running Aug. 14–16. The five players are scheduled to perform before T1’s match against Dplus KIA. A T1 STARS pop-up will remain open throughout the event. Organizers confirmed tickets sold out weeks in advance.

The Home Ground lineup also includes Boo Seungkwan and Lee Dokyeom of SEVENTEEN, hip-hop duo Dynamicduo and K-pop group FIFTY FIFTY. A member of FIFTY FIFTY, Athena, was recently named ambassador for T1’s VALORANT team.

The T1 STARS project is part of a partnership between T1 and Spotify that began in June 2025. T1 is the three-time League of Legends world champion organization. The project pairs five current roster players with a short-form music program that combines exclusive streaming releases, a documentary, live performances and a pop-up for fans.
