League of Legends Tops Week Two at Esports World Cup 2026

Broadcasts from July 13–19 drew 47.8 million Hours Watched; League of Legends peaked at more than 1.48 million viewers.

The second week of the Esports World Cup 2026, held July 13–19, generated 47.8 million Hours Watched across all tournaments. That total was double the opening week and 34.4% higher than the second week of the 2025 event. League of Legends produced over 23.6 million Hours Watched and reached a peak audience of more than 1.48 million viewers, the highest single-event peak at the Esports World Cup so far this year.

League of Legends saw increased engagement even though favorites T1 and Gen.G Esports did not reach the grand final; both teams met in the third-place match. The title’s week-two Hours Watched were about 30% higher than last year’s figure for the event.

Free Fire reached a peak of more than 804,000 viewers and totaled 11.3 million Hours Watched over four days, representing roughly 23.6% of the week’s Hours Watched. The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational peaked at over 565,400 viewers, a 13.8% increase from the prior year, making it the second-most-watched event in women’s esports history after the 32nd SEA Games Women’s Tournament, which peaked at 1.36 million viewers.

Dota 2 peaked at 326,800 viewers, down 24% from the same week in 2025 despite an all-Russian grand final. Its longer tournament format delivered more than 15.9 million Hours Watched across the first two weeks of the Esports World Cup, placing Dota 2 second by cumulative Hours Watched behind League of Legends.

Among organizations, T1 was the most-watched after two weeks, with its teams generating over 10 million Hours Watched, nearly all from its League of Legends roster, which finished fourth. In the EWC Club Championship standings after week two, Natus Vincere led with 1,750 points after winning Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and finishing second at the MLBB Women’s Invitational. Team Vitality held 1,400 points after its women’s roster won the MLBB Women’s Invitational, and AG.AL International sat third with 1,100 points based on high finishes in Valorant, Free Fire, and League of Legends.

Community casting accounted for 56.6% of total Hours Watched during the second week. Vietnamese streamer Hoàng Luân recorded the highest co-streamer peak while covering League of Legends, and British caster Marc “Caedrel” Lamont led community streams by cumulative Hours Watched.

The third week of the Esports World Cup runs July 20–26. Scheduled decisive matches include Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics, and EA FC26. Tournament results and viewership statistics are available on the EWC Hub.
