w0nderful CS2: Age, Real Name and Early Career

Born on December 14, 2004, Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov began competing professionally while still in his teens. His first recorded teams included MAJESTY and Project X in 2020, followed by Trasko and HellRaisers as he moved through the Ukrainian and wider European scene.

w0nderful is 21 years old in 2026. He has already spent roughly six years in competitive Counter-Strike and played at six Majors across CS:GO and CS2.

w0nderful was already playing primarily with the AWP during his early years in Ukrainian teams. In June 2022, Team Spirit signed him for its main roster and gave him his first regular place at tier-one events.

A few months later, the 17-year-old played his first Major. Spirit reached the quarterfinals of IEM Rio Major 2022 before losing to Heroic.

w0nderful NAVI Journey and Team History

w0nderful played for Team Spirit from June 2022 until the summer of 2023. Along with the Major quarterfinal in Rio, Spirit won FiReLEAGUE 2022 Global Finals and reached the final of ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe during his time with the organization.

w0nderful joined Sprout in July 2023, but his stay lasted only three months. In October, NAVI needed a new AWPer after moving s1mple to the inactive roster. NAVI signed w0nderful as his replacement. The move coincided with the transition from CS:GO to CS2, making NAVI his first permanent team in the new version of the game.

At NAVI, w0nderful joined Aleksib, b1t, iM and jL in the starting five. The team finished 3rd–4th at the BLAST Premier World Final 2023 before winning PGL Major Copenhagen the following spring.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 made w0nderful a Major champion less than half a year after joining NAVI. The same roster then reached the IEM Cologne final and won the Esports World Cup, ESL Pro League Season 20 and IEM Rio during 2024.

Before moving to CS2, w0nderful played CS:GO for MAJESTY, Project X, Trasko, HellRaisers, Spirit and Sprout. All of his matches for NAVI have come in CS2.

NAVI changed the lineup again in 2025 when Makazze replaced jL. w0nderful remained the primary sniper and helped the rebuilt five win StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 and finish 3rd–4th at the StarLadder Budapest Major.
