Team Falcons Sweep Spacestation To Win RLCS 2026 Title

Team Falcons defeated Spacestation Gaming 4-0 in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 20 to capture the RLCS 2026 World Championship. The victory was Falcons’ first world title and the first RLCS world championship for the Middle East and North Africa region.

Falcons entered the event through the Play-In after their accumulated circuit points did not secure a direct berth. They advanced with 3-1 wins over FUT Esports and R8 Esports to reach the group stage.

In the group stage Falcons beat Spacestation 3-2 and MIBR 3-0, then lost 3-1 to Karmine Corp, which sent them to the lower bracket of the playoffs.

In the lower bracket Falcons won every series: 4-1 over FURIA, 4-1 over Shopify Rebellion and 4-1 over reigning champion NRG. Falcons then beat Karmine Corp 4-2 in the semifinals and closed the tournament with a 4-0 sweep of Spacestation in the grand final.

Spacestation Gaming’s lineup of João “diaz” Henrique, Jack “reveal” LeDuc and Zachary “zach” Stone reached a second straight international final after finishing runner-up at the Esports World Cup, but were unable to overcome Falcons in the best-of-seven final.

Kiileerrz was named tournament MVP. Rw9 and Kiileerrz won world championships for the first time, while dralii claimed a second world title after winning the RLCS 2024 World Championship with Team BDS.

On the World Championship broadcast, Psyonix confirmed Rocket League is being migrated to Unreal Engine 6 with a target implementation in 2027. Developers have been testing early builds at LAN events with professional players and content creators to collect feedback; testing footage included Alexis “zen” Bernier, Archie “Archie” Pickthall and Victor “Ferra” Francal. The original Rocket League launched in 2015 on Unreal Engine 3.

With the 2026 season complete, Team Falcons finish atop the RLCS circuit and the MENA region records its first RLCS world championship.
