T1 Opens Gangnam Base Camp with Trophy Room and Dining

T1 Entertainment & Sports staged a soft opening on Oct. 3 for its third T1 Base Camp in Gangnam, Seoul. The facility sits adjacent to the company headquarters and covers 476 pyeong (16,937.6 sq. ft.). It replaces the previous flagship store location at T1’s HQ and adds new fan and event spaces.

The organization described the Gangnam branch as a “more evolved T1 brand experience space,” intended to translate the team’s esports achievements into a large, futuristic environment. The new site follows earlier T1 Base Camps in Hongdae, Seoul and Busan.

The facility includes a 24-hour PC zone equipped with AMD Ryzen 9800X3D processors, NVIDIA RTX 5070 and 5090 graphics cards, and 500Hz Samsung OLED QHD displays. Screens placed across the compound and dedicated viewing areas are available for fan gatherings and esports events.

A trophy room documents T1’s League of Legends history. Exhibits include an audio zone, player handprints, team uniforms, a legacy area of championship memorabilia and a kinetic art piece of Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok in a signature pose. T1 noted its recent competitive record, including a three-peat at the World Championship in Chengdu last year, as context for the displays.

Hide on Bouche is the site’s premium dining venue and will be led by the head chef who prepares meals for T1 players. The menu ranges from cafe items and desserts to Western dishes such as steaks and pizzas, and the venue serves cocktails and beers. T1 positioned the space as a full dining program for fans rather than a basic café offering.

The relocated T1 Flagship store includes upgraded retail features. Planned additions are fitting rooms that double as photo zones, a “CREATIVE LAB” offering custom marking services for merchandise, and multiple gacha machine zones across the compound.

T1 Chief Operating Officer Josh Ahn described the Gangnam branch as “a venue for ‘connection’, where T1’s epic history and the players’ spirit can be shared most closely with the fans,” and added that the expanded flagship store and premium dining are expected to help establish the site as a new landmark of global esports culture.

T1 Base Camps combine traditional PC café functions with branded fan spaces. The Gangnam location provides round-the-clock access to high-performance gaming stations alongside communal areas for viewings and events and is sited next to T1’s headquarters for easy access by local fans and visitors.
