SINNERS exit IEM Cologne 0-3; captain calls result a disaster
SINNERS were eliminated 0-3 in Stage 1 of IEM Cologne. Captain Sebastian “beastik” Daňo called the result a “disaster” and praised new starter FL4MUS for proactive, stage-ready play.
SINNERS were eliminated 0-3 in Stage 1 of IEM Cologne, exiting the opening group phase without a match win. The result ended the team’s run in the tournament’s initial stage.
Captain Sebastian “beastik” Daňo called the outcome “a disaster,” adding the squad did not come to the event to finish 0-3 and that he was very disappointed with the result.
Beastik noted the team played “okay-ish” in some matches but failed to reach the level it has shown previously and that he expected more from the roster.
He highlighted FL4MUS’s performance after the player moved into positions formerly occupied by s1ren. “He’s ready to push the smoke, and he’s ready to peek, and he’s very proactive inside the game, and I think it’s much easier to play with him,” beastik commented. He noted that FL4MUS’s clear actions on stage help teammates who are unsure where to move.
On team roles, beastik described the coaching and leadership focus as placing players in positions where they can succeed rather than trying to extract maximum output from a single player. He said the staff try to put insani and kl1m in situations where they can perform, and that FL4MUS had “taken the game in his own hands” in the recent match.
The 0-3 exit concludes SINNERS’ participation in the Stage 1 group phase at IEM Cologne.
