The Overwatch Champions Series 2026 Midseason Championship at the Esports World Cup drew a peak concurrent audience of 244,453 and totaled 6.5 million hours watched.
The Grand Final between Japan’s ZETA DIVISION and Twisted Minds produced the peak viewership as ZETA won 4–2 to claim the title. ZETA received $400,000 from a $1 million prize pool and Twisted Minds earned $180,000.
The event ranked ninth among Esports World Cup 2026 competitions by peak viewers, placing ahead of PUBG: Battlegrounds and just below Valorant.
Organizers reported higher total watch time and higher peak concurrent viewership for English- and Japanese-language broadcasts compared with the OWCS Midseason event in 2025. The tournament’s 6.5 million hours watched exceeded the combined watch time of the previous two Overwatch editions at the Esports World Cup.
ZETA DIVISION entered the Midseason Championship as Asia’s top seed after sweeping both OWCS Korea stages and winning the OWCS Asia Stage 1 Championship. The Midseason Championship was ZETA’s first major international OWCS title.
Twisted Minds reached the final for a second consecutive major run. South Korea’s T1 beat China’s Weibo Gaming 3–0 to finish third. On the overall Club Championship standings, ZETA moved into eighth, 100 points ahead of Twisted Minds, and T1 rose to sixth.
