PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026: 32 teams, $500K in Jakarta
Season 1 runs June 2–7 in Jakarta with 32 teams, including Ukraine’s Boars Gaming, competing at Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan for $500,000 and PMGC points.
The PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 1 runs June 2–7 at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta. Thirty-two teams will compete for a $500,000 prize pool and PMGC Points that affect qualification for the year-end PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
The event is organized across three stages: a Group Stage on June 2–3, a Survival Stage on June 4, and Grand Finals on June 6–7. The Season 1 winner will receive 75 PMGC Points.
In the Group Stage the 32 teams are split into two groups of 16. Each group plays six matches. The top six teams from each group advance directly to the Grand Finals. Teams finishing 7th through 14th move to the Survival Stage. The 15th and 16th place teams in each group are eliminated.
The Survival Stage features the 16 teams that finished 7th–14th. Those teams play six matches, and the four highest-ranked teams from that stage advance to complete the 16-team Grand Finals field. All remaining teams are eliminated.
The Grand Finals consist of 12 matches, with six matches played each day. The second day of the Grand Finals will apply the Smash Rule: once a team reaches a set points threshold it becomes eligible to clinch the championship by finishing first in any subsequent match.
Teams qualified through regional events. Confirmed entrants include Team Flash from Vietnam, eArena from Thailand, Indonesia’s RRQ RYU and Bigetron by Vitality, and Boars Gaming from Ukraine. Additional teams from Europe and the Americas secured places through regional qualifiers.
Organizers have emphasized that PMGC Points earned in Jakarta will influence the competitive calendar and qualification for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship later in the year. PUBG MOBILE also announced recent collaborations with the national football teams of Argentina and Portugal as part of its wider marketing activities.
Matches will be held in an indoor arena configured for esports. Spectators can attend at Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, and matches will be available via live broadcasts for viewers outside the venue.
