Passion UA Withdraws From BC.Game Masters; Ends Season
Passion UA withdraws from BC.Game Masters Season 2 and ends its season early after finishing last at IEM Atlanta, citing roster uncertainty after recent signings and departures.
Passion UA announced it will withdraw from the BC.Game Masters Championship Season 2 and end its season after finishing last at IEM Atlanta last week.
At the Georgia event, Johnny “JT” Theodosiou described the situation as “kinda just in limbo” and noted the organization needs a clear plan for the final roster. He added, “We need to know the plan for the future, what the set five is, we need to sign some players and complete the roster.”
Earlier in the season Passion UA signed Santino “try” Rigal and Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold in a roster overhaul. The changes did not improve results: the team failed to qualify for the Cologne Major and fell to 48th in the VRS global rankings.
Senzu left to join BC.Game, and Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev joined Passion UA on loan as a replacement. The organization has not confirmed whether Orudzhev will remain in the lineup when competition resumes, leaving the starting five unresolved.
Passion UA did not provide a date for a return to competition. The club stated it will resolve personnel and contractual matters before committing to future events. Their withdrawal removes the team from the BC.Game Masters Championship Season 2 field.
