ODDIK Suspends Esports Operations, Ends CS Division

ODDIK, a Brazilian esports organization, has suspended esports operations indefinitely with immediate effect and closed its Counter-Strike division. Two players were moved to the club bench; five players and the head coach were released as free agents.

The club’s announcement listed Diogo ‘diozera’ Oliveira Nunes and Gustavo ‘nardes’ Henrique as benched. Players released or made free agents were Sebastian ‘righi’ Righi, Guilhermo ‘PremiuM’ Popov, Vitor ‘Ceruttera’ Cerutti, Gabriel ‘NEKIZ’ Schenato and coach Joaquin ‘lokomotioN’ Abasolo. The statement did not include a timeline or further details.

ODDIK entered the Counter-Strike scene in June 2022 and competed regularly in South American domestic competitions. The team qualified for PGL Astana 2025 and reached No. 28 in the HLTV world rankings. At PGL Astana 2025 the squad did not advance to the playoff stage.

The announcement takes effect immediately and alters the contractual status of the affected players and coach. The released players are free to sign with other teams, while the two benched players remain under ODDIK’s control. The organization did not disclose financial details, plans for other esports divisions or support arrangements for staff and players.

The suspension ends ODDIK’s continuous participation in regional Counter-Strike competition since 2022 and removes one Brazilian organization from international qualifiers and events.
