NAVI remain registered for Retake despite schedule clash

Natus Vincere remain registered for HyperX Retake Season 13 in Lisbon from October 29 to November 1, despite overlaps with PGL Masters Bucharest and IEM Beijing.

Natus Vincere remain registered for HyperX Retake Season 13 in Lisbon, Portugal, after the October 19 withdrawal deadline passed. The 16-team LAN tournament is scheduled for October 29 to November 1 and has $16,996 in prize money.

The event overlaps with PGL Masters Bucharest, which runs from October 24 to 31, and ends less than a day before IEM Beijing starts on November 2. IEM Beijing is scheduled to run through November 8.

The scheduling conflict comes while Natus Vincere are trying to secure a place at the next Major. The team dropped below the top 20 in the Valve Regional Standings during the fall season and currently sits 30th.

Two LAN wins at ESL Pro League Season 24 briefly improved Natus Vincere’s position, but the team has since fallen in the rankings. Teams below Natus Vincere can still close the gap before the Major invite deadline.

A current qualification simulation gives Natus Vincere a 96.6% chance of reaching the Major. The estimate includes two events before the invite deadline and assumes the team wins some matches, especially against lower-ranked opponents at HyperX Retake.

Natus Vincere could remain outside the required ranking range without enough LAN victories. The final team list for the Lisbon event has not been announced. If the field remains incomplete, Natus Vincere could be placed in a GSL group with three teams, reducing the number of matches available to earn the wins needed for a Major invitation.

Natus Vincere remain registered for HyperX Retake and are expected to attend unless they withdraw after the deadline.
