Chronicle set for third VALORANT Champions final

Chronicle will make his third VALORANT Champions final appearance when Team Vitality plays LOUD in Shanghai on Sunday, Oct. 18. The best-of-five match is scheduled to begin at 2 a.m. ET, 7 a.m. BST, 8 a.m. CEST and 3 a.m. BRT.

Vitality reached the final by defeating 100 Thieves on Saturday. The result came one day after Vitality lost 2-1 to LOUD in the upper-bracket final. The teams also met in the group stage, where Vitality won 2-0. Sunday’s match will be their third meeting at Champions 2026.

Chronicle previously reached the Champions final with Gambit Esports in 2021 and Fnatic in 2025. Gambit lost 3-2 to Acend in Berlin, while Fnatic lost 3-2 to NRG in Paris. Both matches went to a fifth map.

Chronicle has won several international titles. He won Masters Berlin with Gambit in 2021, then helped Fnatic win LOCK//IN São Paulo and Masters Tokyo in 2023. He has yet to win the Champions title.

LOUD is returning to the final for the first time since winning the 2022 tournament. A win in Shanghai would make LOUD the first organization to win the Champions title twice.
