League of Legends Patch 26.22 adds new K/DA skins

Riot Games will add new K/DA skins for Ahri, Evelynn, Akali and Kai’Sa to League of Legends with Patch 26.22 on November 4. The release follows the group’s return with its “Firestarter” song and a four-song EP scheduled for October 21.

Ahri and Kai’Sa will receive Epic-tier K/DA FIRESTARTER skins priced at 1,350 RP each. Evelynn’s K/DA FIRESTARTER skin will be a Legendary release costing 1,820 RP. The three champions will share splash artwork for the collection.

Akali and Evelynn will each receive a Mythic Variant through The Sanctum, League of Legends’ randomized item system. Akali’s variant is called K/DA FIRESTARTER Akali, while Evelynn’s is K/DA Hitmaker Evelynn.

Each Mythic Variant may require up to 40 pulls. One Ancient Spark costs 400 RP, making the maximum cost 16,000 RP per variant. Depending on the RP bundles available in a player’s region, that amount could cost about $120 to $130.

The Mythic Variants will be available for a limited time and will leave the store after the event. The other K/DA skins are expected to remain permanently available in the League of Legends store.

K/DA first appeared in League of Legends in 2018 with Ahri, Evelynn, Akali and Kai’Sa as its members. Riot released another set of K/DA skins in 2020. The group’s debut single, “POP/STARS,” had more than 100 million music-video views within one month of its release.
