MOUZ’s torzsi: 10 wins with new lineup after CS Asia bronze

MOUZ’s Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás said the team notched 10 wins with its new lineup in two weeks after a 2-0 win over MIBR for bronze at the 2026 CS Asia Championships.

MOUZ finished the 2026 CS Asia Championships by beating MIBR 2-0 in the third-place match, securing a second straight bronze after a third-place finish at PGL Astana. Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás highlighted ten wins for the new lineup across two weeks and credited role changes, a new in-game leader and incoming players for the results. He confirmed Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin will return for the Cologne Major.

The team’s tournament run required an early drop into the lower bracket and back-to-back days of two best-of-three matches. Torzsás pointed to that schedule as a test of stamina and mentality, and noted the squad handled consecutive long match days to reach the podium.

Torzsás singled out newcomer Adrian “xelex” Vincze, promoted from MOUZ NXT, for rapid adaptation at tier-1 events and calm play on stage. He described xelex as smart and praised his understanding of the team’s systems. Stand-in Justin “jL” Savage was noted for experience and locker-room presence; Torzsás said jL’s status with MOUZ after the Major remains undecided.

On his own form, Torzsás acknowledged a run of three poor individual events earlier in the year that he attributed to mental fatigue and exhaustion. He said he is working to regain consistency and welcomed the tactical approach under new IGL xertioN and coach sycrone, adding the setup aims to give multiple players opportunities to make an impact.

Torzsás reviewed the loss to Falcons as a match decided by a few key errors and strong individual plays from the opposition. He recalled an unexpected anti-force on the upper site, a missed call that allowed NiKo to catch two players off-guard, and a mis-thrown smoke that delayed a round and cost an anti-eco, contributing to a 10-2 half. He noted the team’s CT side showed promise despite the mistakes.

Looking to the Cologne Major, MOUZ will start in Stage 3 and has a little more than two weeks of structured preparation. The schedule includes short rest at home, practice days, a bootcamp and a final shuttle to the venue in Cologne. Torzsás said the squad will set goals after regrouping, while he personally aims to reach the Major playoffs and give xelex his first Major playoff experience.

MOUZ will return home briefly ahead of bootcamp with Brollan rejoining the starting five and the team seeking to convert recent wins into a deeper run at the Major.
