LOUD drops CS2 project, releases Largados y Pelados roster

LOUD ended its Counter-Strike 2 project before a formal roster announcement and released Largados y Pelados; captain Leonardo “zmb” Toledo and coach Pablo “disturbed” Fernandes are free agents.

LOUD ended its Counter-Strike 2 project before officially entering the game and released the Largados y Pelados roster. Captain Leonardo “zmb” Toledo and coach Pablo “disturbed” Fernandes announced on social media that they are no longer under contract and will continue playing together under the LyPcs2 tag while remaining open to individual offers.

The organization reached an agreement with the Largados y Pelados lineup in May. After that point the team continued to compete under the LP name while receiving logistical support. LOUD covered tournament entry fees, funded a bootcamp in Portugal and ran marketing that included references to the organization on player jerseys and a teaser about a Counter-Strike entry, but it never issued an official roster announcement.

During the period of LOUD’s backing, the LP roster recorded several results. The team won CCT 2026 South America Series 1, BetBoom Storm Season 3 and Circuit X Recife. While training in Portugal the roster finished 5th–8th at Roman Imperium Cup VIII, HyperX Retake Season 12 and LeonBet Masters Season 1.

On social media zmb wrote: “I’m here to announce that I’m a free agent and no longer under contract (thanks to our president). We’ll keep playing together as @LyPcs2, but we’re also open to individual offers. God knows all things, and this won’t be the time I give up.” Coach Pablo “disturbed” Fernandes posted: “Just stopping by to let everyone know that I’m now a free agent. We’ll keep playing together as @LyPcs2 and we’re looking for an organization, but I’m also open to individual offers. Thanks for all the support I’ve received over the past few months, and I hope I can keep counting on you.”

Disturbed linked the roster release to recent regulatory changes in Brazil, referencing Provisional Measure No. 1,394 published on Sept. 25. The measure bans the operation, offering, intermediation and advertising of fixed-odds betting in Brazil and places limits on related marketing and sponsorship activities. LOUD has not provided a public reason for ending the Counter-Strike 2 project.

On the same day the LP players announced their release, Vivo Keyd Stars announced it would pause its Counter-Strike 2 program indefinitely, citing changes to the competitive model and the country’s commercial and regulatory environment.

The players said they will continue competing together under the LyPcs2 name while exploring offers from organizations and teams.
