Envy enters Singapore Major race 21st in regional standings

Envy announced on 29 September it has signed the five-player French roster formerly known as 3DMAX and will use the team to begin its PGL Singapore Major 2026 qualification campaign. The organisation inherits the roster’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points and appears on the list at 21st.

The lineup is Bryan ‘Maka’ Canda (AWPer and in-game leader), Lucas ‘Lucky’ Chastang, Kévin ‘misutaaa’ Rabier, Filip ‘Graviti’ Brankovic and Jeremy ‘Kursy’ Gast. The group won Logitech G Play Connect 2026 under the 3DMAX name, with Maka named event MVP. Envy is expected to debut the roster at Stake Pulse Beat III, which begins on 12 October, and the team is scheduled to play DraculaN Season 7 before the 2 November invitation cutoff for the Singapore Major.

Envy took on the players and their VRS points but did not assume reported financial liabilities tied to 3DMAX. Reports estimate the former organisation’s outstanding debts at about $2 million, including roughly €1.5 million in unpaid salaries, prize money and sticker revenue; those amounts have not been independently verified.

A Mischief qualification simulation gives the new Envy a 38.8% chance of qualifying for the PGL Singapore Major and projects a potential final ranking between 14th and 26th. The simulation is a modelled outcome and not a guarantee. Two ranked events remain before the 2 November cutoff, and results at those events can change the team’s VRS position.

Envy previously fielded notable French lineups that won DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015 and MLG Vegas 2016. The organisation’s last Counter-Strike team before this signing was an international five-player lineup in 2020.

The wider Counter-Strike ecosystem has faced reduced sticker revenue and restrictions on promoting skin-gambling, case-opening and skin-trading sites at officially licensed events. The remaining ranked events and early-season tournaments will determine whether Envy’s carried VRS points and the roster’s recent results result in a Singapore Major invitation.
