LOS clinches CBLOL’s first Worlds 2026 berth with 3-2 win
LOS defeated LOUD 3-2 on Sunday to secure CBLOL’s first berth at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship.
LOS secured CBLOL’s first Worlds 2026 berth by defeating rivals LOUD 3-2 in the CBLOL playoffs on Sunday. The series decided the region’s first qualifying spot for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship.
LOS finished the regular split with a 6-1 record, tied with LOUD. Both teams advanced directly to the second round of the playoffs. In an Upper Bracket match earlier in the playoffs, LOS beat FURIA 3-1 to set up the series with LOUD.
Sunday’s best-of-five was closely contested. LOS won the first two games, LOUD won the following two to force a fifth game, and LOS won the decider to close the series 3-2.
With the victory, LOS will represent CBLOL at Worlds 2026 as the region’s first qualifier. The team reached the spot by combining a 6-1 regular split, a 3-1 Upper Bracket win over FURIA, and the five-game series win over LOUD.
