Legacy’s n1ssim hails try as ‘insane AWPer’ after FURIA win

Legacy reached the semi-finals of FISSURE Playground 3 in China after defeating FURIA 2-0 in the Group B upper-bracket final on September 10, 2026. The win followed 2-1 and 2-0 victories over magic and Alliance earlier in the event, putting Legacy into the last four.

Vinicius ‘n1ssim’ Pereira highlighted the impact of Santino ‘try’ Rigal, who joined the roster a few months ago, saying the AWPer has strengthened the team’s AWP presence through reading rounds and in-game communication. “I think try is an insane AWPer; he has an insane game sense as well, and he has insane mid calls,” he said, adding that try’s tactical reads have been important for Legacy.

n1ssim also described a personal break he took mid-season. He benched himself expecting roster changes and offers that did not meet his expectations, and returned after the club’s CEO invited him back. He described the time away as a reset for his mindset and credited the return with an improvement in his play. “When I stepped out and stepped back in again, I came back with another mindset,” he added.

Legacy are past winners of the CS Asia Championships in 2025 and 2026 and have recorded multiple event wins in China. n1ssim rejected limits based on region and said the team’s goal is to be the best in the world rather than just the top team in Brazil or the Americas. He also referred to a light-hearted “China good luck” after several positive results in the country.

On potential opponents in the final, n1ssim noted that jet lag had limited his view of the full field but that he had seen teams such as G2 and FURIA at the venue. He acknowledged FURIA as one of the highest-ranked teams remaining but did not single out a specific opponent as the toughest challenge.
