Legacy, BETBOOM Secure Final Semifinal Spots

Legacy and BETBOOM secured the last two semifinal places at FISSURE Playground 3 by winning their group-stage upper-bracket finals. Legacy beat FURIA on Mirage and Ancient, while BETBOOM defeated MIBR on Mirage and Anubis.

Legacy and FURIA each opened Mirage and Ancient with 6-6 first halves. Legacy pulled away after the side switch, recording no double-digit opponent scores on either map. Bruno “latto” Rebelatto and Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira led Legacy with tournament ratings of 1.34 and 1.30, respectively. Andrei “arT” Piovezan and Santino “try” Rigal also posted positive ratings across the series, while Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer finished the match with a 1.10 rating. FURIA’s Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato had a 1.23 rating; Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis and other teammates posted lower numbers in the matchup.

BETBOOM’s wins over MIBR were decided in two close maps. On Mirage, MIBR led 7-5 at halftime but won only two rounds after the switch, with BETBOOM closing the map 13-9 and taking eight of the final ten rounds. On Anubis, MIBR led 8-4 at the break before BETBOOM forced overtime and won 16-14. Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov and Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov paced BETBOOM with ratings of 1.31 and 1.25. Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko and Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov provided additional support. MIBR’s Lucas “nqz” Soares, Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo and Felipe “insani” Yuji posted ratings around 1.01–1.12, while Linus “LNZ” Holtäng and Tomas “tomaszin” Cornatomaszin recorded lower marks in the series.

Legacy and BETBOOM will occupy opposite semifinal slots. The playoff bracket continues to include multiple teams with Brazilian cores: Legacy, MIBR and FURIA each feature Brazilian players, and half of the teams in the top six include Brazilian players. MIBR and FURIA are placed on opposite sides of the quarter-final draw.

The final two teams from the group stage will be decided later in the matchday when the lower-bracket finals in both groups conclude. Tournament rules advance upper-bracket winners directly to the semifinals; lower-bracket winners and quarter-final victors fill the remaining playoff positions.
