Fissure Playground 3: 16 teams, $1M purse, Sept. 8-13 in China

A 16-team Fissure Playground 3 will take place in China Sept. 8-13 with two double-elimination groups, three teams advancing from each group, a $1 million pot and one Fantasy contest.
Fissure Playground 3 will run in China from Sept. 8-13 with 16 teams entered, five of them ranked in the top ten of the VRS standings. Teams are divided into two groups of eight and will compete in a double-elimination group stage.
Three teams from each group will advance to the playoff bracket. Group winners will advance directly to the semi-finals, while the second- and third-placed teams will meet in the quarter-finals. The group stage is scheduled for Sept. 8-10 and the playoffs for Sept. 11-13.
The opening day on Sept. 8 features eight first-round matches: 9z vs 5star, Legacy vs magic, The MongolZ vs MIBR, FaZe vs Alliance, PARIVISION vs TYLOO, BETBOOM vs BIG, G2 vs Astralis and FURIA vs GamerLegion. The full match schedule is available on the event page.
Organizers have allocated $1,000,000 in combined player and club prize money. The player prize pool awards $165,000 to first place, $75,000 to second, $40,000 to each third- and fourth-place player pool, $25,000 to fifth and sixth, $15,000 to seventh and eighth, $7,500 to ninth through twelfth, and $5,000 to thirteenth through sixteenth. The club share mirrors a tiered structure with $135,000 for the winning club, $85,000 for runners-up, $53,000 for third and fourth, $40,000 for fifth and sixth, $27,000 for seventh and eighth, $12,500 for ninth through twelfth, and $10,000 for thirteenth through sixteenth.
A single Fantasy contest will run across the tournament, with in-game weapon skin prizes: first place receives Shadow Daggers | Tiger Tooth (Factory New), second an AK-47 | Asiimov (Minimal Wear), third an AWP | Redline (Field-Tested), fourth an M4A4 | The Battlestar (Minimal Wear), and fifth through tenth receive Desert Eagle | Mecha Industries (Factory New).
Organizers will provide live and on-site coverage including interviews, photos, video and social updates from the venue. The event features multiple top-ranked VRS teams and a condensed group-to-playoff format with $1 million in combined player and club funds.
