GamerLegion benches Snax after Major qualification setback

GamerLegion has benched Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski after the team’s results left it almost out of contention for a place at the PGL Major Singapore.
GamerLegion has benched Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski from its active roster after the team fell almost out of contention for the PGL Major Singapore. The organization must appoint a new in-game leader before its next tournament.
Snax was in his second stint with GamerLegion. He first captained the team from September 2023 to July 2024 before returning in December 2025. During his latest spell, GamerLegion reached the semifinals of BLAST Rivals and finished second at IEM Atlanta.
The team’s results declined after their IEM Cologne elimination and Oldřich “PR” Nový’s transfer to MOUZ. GamerLegion fell from ninth in the Valve Regional Standings in June to 42nd as of October.
Several player absences affected the team’s recent results. Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson Lindelof missed the IEM Beijing qualifier because of health issues, Snax was unavailable for FPG 3 because of travel problems, and Fredrik “REZ” Sterner missed Logitech G Play Connect after suffering food poisoning.
GamerLegion is scheduled to compete next at the RELOG Tesla Cup. Its active lineup consists of REZ, Tauson, Timur “FL4MUS” Marev and Milan “hypex” Polowiec, with Adrian “imd” Pieper as coach. Snax remains with the organization as a benched player.
FL4MUS added: “Let’s hope we can come back in the season; it’s unfortunately not looking good.”
