League of Legends Mythic Shop to Get Player-Specific Offers

Riot Games will rework League of Legends’ Mythic Shop on Nov. 4, giving each player a different selection of skins and other cosmetics based on gameplay.

Riot Games plans to rework League of Legends’ Mythic Shop with Patch 26.22 on Nov. 4. The update will replace the current shared rotations with player-specific selections of skins and other cosmetic items.

The shop currently shows the same catalog to players worldwide. New items appear in biweekly, weekly and daily sections. After the rework, each player will see a different selection based on gameplay.

The system will work in a way similar to Your Shop, which recommends skins for champions a player frequently uses. Mythic Shop items will remain at their regular prices and will not receive Your Shop-style discounts.

The personalized offerings may include icons, emotes, chromas and other cosmetic items. Riot has not explained which gameplay data will determine the selections or whether the system will consider factors beyond frequently played champions.

“During Patch 26.22, we’ll be making changes to the Mythic Shop so that each player will start to see offerings unique to them, rather than everyone having the same selection at a given time,” Riot wrote in its Patch 26.21 notes. The company added that the system could later show players content that is more relevant to them.

Patch 26.21 will change the timing of the shop’s biweekly, weekly and daily rotations before the main rework arrives. The next biweekly rotation is scheduled for Oct. 27.
