Legacy beats TYLOO to clinch CS Asia playoff spot

Defending champions Legacy beat TYLOO 2-0 (Overpass 19-16, Ancient 16-12) to secure a playoff berth at the CS Asia Championships and return to Shanghai’s Yuanshen Gymnasium.

Legacy defeated TYLOO 2-0 on May 21, 2026, to secure a spot in the CS Asia Championships playoff bracket and a return to the Shanghai Yuanshen Gymnasium, where the Brazilian team won the event seven months earlier.

On Overpass Legacy opened with a 7-2 lead before TYLOO rallied to force overtime after strong finishes to both halves. Legacy produced a flawless CT half in overtime and converted two map points. Bruno “latto” Rebelatto won a 1-versus-2 in the final rounds to close the map 19-16.

The second map, Ancient, was also close and required extra time. Legacy won the overtime period 16-12 to complete the 2-0 series sweep.

The match took place during the group phase of the CS Asia Championships 2026. Legacy had earlier defeated NRG in a best-of-one opener, giving them two wins from the opening day and an assured place in the playoff rounds in Shanghai. Previously, TYLOO upset MOUZ 13-7 on Inferno in the opening best-of-one at CS Asia Championships 2026.

Thursday’s group-stage schedule begins at 03:00 with NRG facing MOUZ and 3DMAX meeting Liquid. At 06:00 BC.Game plays paiN and Lynn Vision faces Ninjas in Pyjamas. Winners from those matches advance to face M80 and The MongolZ at 09:00. TYLOO is scheduled to play the BC.Game/paiN winner at 12:00, and PARIVISION will face the Lynn Vision/NiP winner at the same time.

Legacy’s play included coordinated CT halves and individual clutch moments, with Bruno “latto” Rebelatto’s late-round play deciding the first map. The team will appear at the Yuanshen Gymnasium as part of the playoff field.
