GamerLegion sign shalfey to replace benched Snax

GamerLegion has signed Aleksandr “shalfey” Marenov as its new in-game leader after Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski was benched earlier Wednesday.

The 24-year-old joins GamerLegion after spending the past two months with ex-RUSTEC in online competitions. He averaged a 1.06 rating across several domestic rosters in 2026 and will lead an international team for the first time.

shalfey will make his GamerLegion debut at the RLG Tesla Cup 2026 on Oct. 27. GamerLegion will face Envy in the first round, with the match scheduled for 20:00.

The roster change follows GamerLegion’s last-place finish in the PGL Bucharest 2027 Closed Qualifier. The result leaves the team with little room in the race to qualify for the Singapore Major.

GamerLegion’s roster consists of Fredrik “REZ” Sterner, Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson Lindelof, Timur “FL4MUS” Marev, Milan “hypex” Polowiec and shalfey. Adrian “imd” Pieper remains the team’s coach.
