Fragster launches EU women’s CS league; IEM Kraków tickets July 2

Fragster announced the Challenger EU Female Masters, a Europe-only women’s Counter-Strike league scheduled to begin in summer 2026. The league will offer a $5,000 prize pool and use a two-division format with promotion and relegation. Open qualifiers are set for July 2026 and organizers plan two seasons in 2027.

Eligibility rules allow cisgender and transgender women residing in Europe to enter the competition. Teams will compete in a lower and upper division, with season results determining which teams move between tiers. The announced $5,000 covers the league’s initial prize distribution.

IEM Kraków, in Kraków, Poland, will host the Major playoffs on a 360-degree stage across four arena days. The event will use an eight-team playoff bracket to determine the champion. Marc Winther, Director Esports for Counter-Strike at EFG, posted on social media describing the stage layout. Tickets for the Kraków arena days go on sale July 2.

Ahead of the playoffs, players including Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan and Boris “magixx” Vorobiev spoke to event microphones about the upcoming matches. Organizers highlighted the arena format and stage design as central elements of the playoff presentation.

Fragster’s Challenger EU Female Masters will run qualifiers and a regular season next summer, providing a structured regional competition for women players in Europe with promotion and relegation between two tiers. IEM Kraków will concentrate Major playoff rounds into a multi-day live format with an eight-team bracket.
