A free demo for Resident Evil Requiem is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC via Steam and Epic; demo progress cannot be transferred.

Capcom released a free demo for Resident Evil Requiem on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store three months after the full game’s launch.

The demo covers the game’s opening sections and alternates between FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and series veteran Leon S. Kennedy, showing each character’s perspective and gameplay. Capcom described the paired storylines and encounter design as “a heart-stopping and emotional experience.”

The demo is available now on the listed platforms. Any progress made in the demo cannot be transferred to the full game, the company confirmed.

Capcom said the demo lets players sample the game’s early narrative and mechanics before deciding whether to purchase the full title. The company has not announced additional demo content or plans to enable save transfers.

Resident Evil Requiem launched three months earlier on the same platforms. On May 7, 2026, Capcom released a free roguelike mode, ‘Leon Must Die Forever,’ for Resident Evil Requiem.
